    Hello lowdown, :)

If you like, there's quite a bit you can do to optimize the performance of Windows 10 without having to install 3rd party software.

    Assumed so.

Have heard that from other sources.
I'll continue to follow your suggestions. Why just clutter up system when I really don't know yet what I am doing.

I use tune up utilities set to high performance mode with everthing that need to be switched to start when needed.

Once this is setup I go into msconfig & switch tune up utilities off so it has tuned the pc up & is now not working in the background for gaming ect.

Another intersting way to improve performance is to open task manager & set your game / program to High prioity that works a treat with my GTAV stops the juddering & runs smoothe all night every night...

I first discovered how to tweak about 10 years ago, once you have learnt what all the tweaks do, I set about finding a program which did this for me & tune up utilities does this for me (maybee not you ???) when you switch to high performance it switches of things which is explained & you can untick it from being de-activated, when you need to update you pc you just put it back into standard mode which undoes all the tweaks instantley, I felt it was easier to use this than go through every single option to shut them down..

The only thing is it is now on a yearly subscription to buy it but I think it is worth it, but I am not advertising just explaining my reason for it.
