Turning off Fast startup under Choose what pushing power button solves a shudown problem.
Besides cache, what is Windows anniversary sending to the disk before it actually SHUTSDOWN?

Obviously, in order to boot up a few secs faster, you have to give up something, like reliability and security.
And also Wake On Lan (WOL) for some like me .... if Fast Startup is enabled the NIC is put to sleep so you can not get Link and thus no Magic Packets, at least on the Intel NIC I have on an Asus X99A II
the windows logo comes, the circle starts.

this is a fresh install of windows 10 pro on a good empty...
I've browsed through a few threads on here, and because of that, I was able to figure out how to disable fast startup (which allows me to listen to the startup sound), but also replace it as well since I believe by default, there is no startup sound...
I have kind of a weird problem that went back to the Windows 8 days as well
When I shutdown from my desktop, I have no problems when I start up again. (I'm the administrator if that makes a difference).
When my wife shuts down from her desktop...
Recently I have observed that my system reboots after 1 sec when booting up.
This happens only when I use Shutdown.
I disabled the Fast Startup and now it boots correctly but very slow but that is predictable since it hybrid boot was disabled.
