Windows 10: powercfg and ps keeping my computer awake??
In my experience overrides for requests have been needed for a long time, for me since Win 7.
I don't know if requests worked differently on a previous version of Win 10.
I just add them and keep them as i find them, because they prevent sleep from working.
fwiw, here are my overrides on a Win 7 OS installed about 7 years ago.

Hello Windows 10 Community,
I'm currently in the process of finalizing my Windows 10 install by configuring all the little details I typically do, but for some reason I cannot get my computer to sleep after the specified time in the Control...
I just upgraded to Windows 10. The jury is still out if I like it better than Windows 7, but I think so. One big problem is nothing I've done will adjust the power setting to keep my laptop from going to sleep. I notice that there is not an option...
