@Tacit, that would've been a dying battery based on your description as you may have figured :)

@Marko1401, please open an admin command prompt and enter following command
    Code:
    powercfg /batteryreport /output %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery_report.html /Duration 14
It will create a battery report on your desktop as HTML from the past 14 days, please zip it and upload it because it cannot be uploaded as the site does not support the extension

As mentioned with laptops it can be a bit more difficult, due to the limitations we have as we can't open up a laptop easily (they are usually under warranty and voiding warranty is something we cannot risk), so we need to have a look at all possible aspects.

Ok, so it was working ok for 2 hours then died 3 consecutive times. Which of course irriateted the living......out of me.

So as a last resort I have reset the PC and refreshed windows. Long Live Dropbox and cloud storage. If the problem persists after this then it is beyond doubt a hardware problem as in a bloated condensator or something down that range. Will update.

    Of course.
Warranty is not an issue here, its a 2013laptop but upgraded with an fast SSD and additional ram so performes solid.

OK, I have refreshed windows and in doing so removed pretty much everything - The laptop is performing ok now.

I have no idea what caused the issue.

OK, your battery seems fine as you said. It is at 49mwh, the capacity at which it started was 53mwh :)

Yes. I think it was the windows update that caused the mayhem for some reason.
Also I have been installing a lot of programs and games and then removing them, possibly corrupting windows.

Well, the refresh solved it. For now.

If it were hardware It would just die on the spot then (motherboard, ram, etc. )
