Windows 10: monitor turns off after (about 10 minutes)
monitor turns off after (about 10 minutes)
I have tried to figure out why my monitor turns itself off after (about) 10 minutes, and can't figure out why it is doing it.
When the monitor goes off I have absolutely no control. The only thing I can do is turn off the computer and power it back up.

At the above post is a registry edit that they say sometimes helps. I tried it... It didn't.
I have gone to settings and changed the power settings to performance. This is a tower computer a dell 630i with 4 gigs of ram and a 750ti nvidia video card,so I want the performance out of it. I said don't park the hard drive, don't turn off the monitor (ever). It still turns off the monitor. I know I am a little weak on info here, so if you need anymore detail please ask.
I would love to fix this problem.
Almost forgot. If i can continously using the computer i haven't experienced the problem. It's if I don't touch anything for a period of time is when there is an issue.
edit August 6: I booted the computer, left the room for maybe 5 minutes might not have even been that long and the monitor was already black and non responsive. please tell me someone has an idea.

Upgraded to Windows 10 when I went to bad last night. I wake up to the computer beeping, 3 beeps at a time, nothing on screen. I decide to keep waiting, just in case. After many hours, I try anything to get it to react, but finally decide to force...
I have three PC's all running the same OS setup but one no matter what I try after 2 minutes the display goes blank, move the mouse and the desktop is there! I found in link but for Windows 7 with the term called "System unattended sleep timeout"...
Hi, i have freshly formatted my computer, installed all the updates and drivers, i have also RMA'd my video card (which i thoroughly tested and found it works fine on other computers.) but i cant figure out why my screen goes black but the computer...
Ok, i can't for the life of me figure out the problem. I have my settings set to where my PC is not support to go to sleep. All the settings are set to NEVER. Yet, when i'm gone for 5-6 minutes, the computer just shuts down or something. I press...
