Can't create a recovery drive.

    I registered just to respond to this. I was having the same issues as others in this thread on a brand new ThinkPad T570, fresh out of the box.

    I tried what KarlFollman did, and ran it in two steps WITHOUT EXITING THE PROGRAM. Not sure if this matters though.

    When you get to the end of the recovery drive wizard the first go around, don't click finish. i used alt + b to get back to the first page and went again from there.

    Hopefully this helps someone out there...

    This two step (Alt+b) worked for me also, simple.
