curious why USB 3.0 runs 33% faster in windows 10 than in 7

    curious why USB 3.0 runs 33% faster in windows 10 than in 7

    same laptop, same USB 3.0 ports, same USB flash stick. but 1/3 faster in windows 10. why?

    Hmmm, there is a 33% improvement in performance that didn't cost anything? It may be better drivers were available, better power management, etc.

    well i think i always had the recent intel drivers for this machine with 7. changing them never did much.

    so it is definitely different in 10. this is a toshiba with i7-4700MQ.
