PC freezing; no BSOD (Kernel-Power 41)
Been getting random freezes for the past month now and it's really annoying. Because they're not related to BSOD, I am getting no dump files to analyze. Event Viewer is useless too.
The freezes aren't really that consistent; they happen maybe 6 hours apart from each other. They can happen when I'm simply browsing the internet or when I'm playing games. I have to manually restart my PC because Windows 10 becomes completely unresponsive during this time. I've tried many things to locate the culprit:
- Did a fresh install of Windows 10
- Reseated RAM
- Ran MemTest86 overnight; no errors
- Changed power settings (only because this helped others, but didn't help me)
- Changed SSD settings (only because this helped others, but didn't help me)
- Defaulted overclock values
- Updated BIOS to current version
None of these worked for me. I'm stuck. My PC has premium parts in it too so I highly doubt its a PSU or motherboard problem, but I don't know. Before you ask, my CPU temps are fine even directly before the crashes. Also I haven't had malware or anything related to that on my PC in years.
How do I fix this?
