That's because you ran the command from C:\WINDOWS\system32 and did not specify the whole path to the install.wim file. I changed directories to the path of the install.wim file first. You have to do one or the other - if you don't run the command from the folder where the install.wim file is, then you have to enter the full path to the install.wim file. Or you have to change folders to get to the folder where the install.wim file is, then you can use install.wim in the command without the path to it.
    OK. Thank you.

However, I have shown that I can run the
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:E:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

On my Win 10 Home without changing from 1 to 2.

I'm guessing because index 1 is Windows 10 Pro it should have all the files that Windows 10 Home does + some extras and, therefore, can be used as a source.

winversion , ISO DL today. I ran with whole path to ESD file with no difference (extracted the ISO).

Dism problem "The source files could not be found"-w10.jpg

Have problems also with latest cumulative update, maybe somethings screwed up in my Windows, usually have been able to run dism and other commands successfully. May look at a W10 re-install. Have tried to re-update W10 via media creation tools that it would fix Windows but no luck there, it faults on the update. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...3-e561b76af348

I can only suggest this :
Let's start from the beginning as if nothing had been done before.................................

Use the Tech Bench link to download your version of Windows 10
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/techbench
Once you have the iso downloaded, right click at the ISO > click Mount > leave it there

Then open the elevated command prompt and copy and paste this................

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:H:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess

Note : H is the drive where the iso is mounted. Change it if your driver letter is different.

When it is completed, you should get the report that the operation is successful.
Now run the sfc /scannow again. It should be ok this time.

No difference UK, US or any other countries.
The only difference will be under Select edition :
    Windows 10
    Windows 10 KN
    Windows 10 N
    Windows Single Language

Pick the first one on the list........... Windows 10
Make sure you pick the same language and bit-version your computer is running.
If your Windows 10 is running English, don't take English International, or vice versa.

Yup, worked with image from technet. Running SFC, maybe open another thread for the cumulative patch problem--if there's any solution to that.

Edit: SFC /Scannow ran successfully, repaired files. SFC matter in order, used wrong image, don't know why can't use the MCT image?!

Someone said there were reports from other users that MCT image is not reliable when running the dism / source command line.
I had no proof of that ....... until now.
