My Windows 10 installation is highly unstable.

My Win 10 installation which I did from the net is highly unstable. It freezes up constantly at different times after I reach the Desktop. I am unable to do anything with it. My games freeze up and exit, my internet freezes,... I'm really very frustrated and at a loss what to do. Please help me, someone.

There are only 2 Official windows 10 download websites :

    1. Media Creation Tool (MCT)
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/soft...load/windows10

    2. Tech Bench
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/soft...load/techbench

Which one of the above 2 did you use ?

Assuming your "unstable" Windows 10 is activated.

Please use the Tech Bench link to download YOUR version of Windows 10
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/soft...load/techbench

scroll down to Select Edition > click the pointer at the right and select your edition of Windows 10 > click Confirm.
click the pointer and select Language > make sure you pick the same language the computer is now running > click Confirm
select the bit version, 32 or 64-bit. Make sure you select the same bit version as the computer is now running.
at the bottom, click the pointer next to Save > click Save As > navigate to a folder of your choice > click the chosen folder > click Save
The iso will start downloading to your chosen folder.
When it is done, go to that folder > open the folder > right click at the iso file > click Mount > click Setup.exe
    Installation will begin.
It will allow you to keep you files, settings and apps.
    No product key is required.
    Activation will be automatic.

Hopefully, after this, your Windows 10 will be ok.

    Welcome aboard, Sujeet.

There are many possible explanations, so there are many possible cures.

Work your way to "Settings." From there, choose "Updates and Security." If you have updates stuck there, allow them to install now, and then walk away for a while 10 straightens itself out.

I think it better to reinstall windows than try to fix it
I have downloaded from here and I think it is very OK : Windows 10 ISO Download - Windows 10 Forums
p/s: Remeber to choose clean install during the installation.

Tried this. Unfortunately the downloaded file seems to have a missing autorun.dll and other errors. Will try the alternate site.
