Hi,
That suggests there wasn't all that much to get rid of anyway.
Ccleaner is a nice program for people that have little computer experience, it plays very safe.
Cheers,
Well, actually the Windows's disk cleaner shows about 1 GB of Temporary Internet Files still sitting on the disk which Ccleaner too was apparently unable to delete. The problem with Ccleaner is that there are lot of options and lot of things that it suggests to delete but you can mess up quite heavily so I quite cautious to use it as well...
Open the run dialog and type in cleanmgr /sageset:1 any number is fine. When window opens click on Clean System Files. When it opens again check all boxes, and hit OK. Then open run dialog again and type in cleanmgr /sagerun:1 and hit ok. It will now clean the files. Clicking on the Windows key, and typing in cleanmgr then right clicking on cleanmgr at the top of the list, and choosing run as administrator, then checking all the boxes, and hitting OK works, too. If windows.old folder is left over as it sometimes is restart, and take ownership. You can find out how on the internet. Google it. Then you can delete that.
O, thanks, will try. But in Windows 10 there is no run, only find
You can use Winkey+X to bring up a shortcuts screen
WinKey+R -> Run...
