Last update made my computer go ka-flu-gie

I am having many difficulties since update to 14271.rs1_release 160218-2310. Firstly many functions will not work and I get error 0x80080300 and it asks me to log in on a different account. My sound icon has disappeared and I have tried a few MS suggestions on line but all I got was the return on the power icon. Still no speaker/volume icon the task-bar. I am presently listening to my PC by connecting a HDMI cable to my external sound system. Please help

    You are 2 builds behind.
The current Insider Preview build is 14291.
Any reason why you have not updated to the current build ?
Are you on Fast ring setup ?

It is possible the current build has fixed the problem you are now facing.

I cannot update because the update says There’s a problem with getting preview builds... Your preview build settings need attention. Go to Advanced options to fix this issue.
When I attempt this by clicking "fix me" I get the 0x80080300 error. Its a constant circle. I know the update is wrong but it did download "defender" updates so I am perplexed.

    Suggestion only :
Get out of build 14271 > go back to your previous build.

Start button > Settings > Update and Security > left side, Recovery > right side, under Go back to n earlier build, click the Get Started button.

Once you are back to build 14267, keep it in Fast ring.
If not more error messages, build 14291 will soon be offered for install.
