    Please help urgent!

    I constantly get black screens while doing random things on my cpu. I get a error of
    "Event id: 10016
    The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}
    and APPID
    {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}"
    I followed guides on this issue but i cant get past this part, when the guide says to change the permissions in regedit it says "access denied"

    Run sfc /scannow from Admin command prompt and see what it reports. Then let us know.

    I'd be surprised if the event ID:10016 errors had anything to do with the black screen. These errors are quite common and happen on most W10 installations.

    More likely to be a graphics driver update required or some other system file error as suggested by OldMike65

    After your done rebooting open your Command prompt ADMIN and then type this command in
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    if it reports no errors, your system should be ok.
