That beep sounds still makes me wonder and how loud it it, how many and how continuous it goes. Most BIOS beeps are at beginning of a boot and then can be due to hardware. At shutdown usually if it would beep and then shutdown without you shutting it down, can be due to heating issues or power. So need to rethink how this beep issue is.

Least i never heard of a beep at shutdown yet, unless also a squeal from a fan sounds like a beep

Hey, sorry for the late response, I got caught up with school. After shutting down a few times and listening to the beep, I think you're right it sounds like it's coming from the fan area.

I did the sfc scannow and the clean image command prompts and both came out clean.

I tried the solutions on the other post you linked to and after doing those and taking out all of the unwanted software, it honestly runs much much much faster. The boot up takes literally about 10-20 seconds. The shut down, still longer but not as long. However the shutdown is still giving me those Service control manager errors and more distributedCOM errors.

Here are the different variety of the errors,

distributedCOM (quite a few), one has {} and the other has just random letters and numbers.

Possible you either have dust buildup inside laptop or something got into fan to. I am not sure how confident you are on opening laptop to check and clean it, can use canned air make sure not to let a fan spin freely from canned air hold it with a stick.

Alright so far seems no system file corruption. At first told me had not added many third party software, what we all know about slow booting is loading of many startup items or hardware or driver issue. Shutdown i believe due to software not properly closing.
Say removed all third party software you had now and it seems better except for shutdown, this is AVG, Dropbox and what else ?
Possible those are part of the issue, not sure if any of these Event Viewer errors are going to cause this shutdown issue.

Basically just telling you as you see service terminated unexpectedly
Seems an issue for some even after clean install with same errors as you from event viewer, remember showing this to you.
Due to some applications in Windows 10, still some bugs in it, but do not believe this is causing you to shutdown slower.

DistributionCOM error is a common one i have not figured out as i receive it just about everyday and i believe even in Windows 8.1.
Service Control manager has to do with Services in Windows, starting, stopping and disabling them. Accessed in many ways. At Run command type Services.msc or in the Task Managers the last tab Service on bottom open Services. Not sure cause of this error as you saw they have them to here in that post along with some others you have.

UserData service is manual set in Windows 10, here is some thing on it
    http://batcmd.com/windows/10/services/unistoresvc/

First just read through this, do not use Bat File as of yet, check if file is missing in C:\Windows\system32

Fix here for some on your event viewer errors

I cleaned the fan around June/July. I'll open it again and take a closer look, I didn't open it for the fan, I replaced the wireless receiver.

The software I removed were AVG and about 4-6 school software that I used for class but I just kept around. One of them took about 2 hours to remove... It was going extremely slowly, it had ~64k files inside of the Program Files folder.

I'm not using OneDriver and I don't think I ever will (anytime soon at least) so I went ahead with that solution in the link you posted where they deleted the OneDrive service through the command prompt. I did this couple days ago, I think it helped a lot.

At this point the shutdown is not a ridiculous amount of time, I'll time it out when I get home. But now that beep is worrying me a bit. There is no power management error or fan failure stuff. But I'll definitely open the computer and take a look at it, maybe even carefully shut it down while open and trying to take a closer look at where it happens.

O.k. again i thought you did not have much third party software and now i am finding out you had even more, because what we thought at first was and besides these Event Viewer errors it was some program that was not shutting down properly and causing slow shutdown. Posted in link i sent you from here i never asked do you use Hibernate ? If not can disable it maybe a cause to shutdown or a corrupted hibernate file. Disable and re-enable it to find out or just disable. (Admin) Command Prompt to enable type powercfg -h on
to disable type powercfg -h off

Why i told you just before you shutdown to check the Task Manager and make sure no running application are in the Apps area of the Process tab if so close them first, then look down the Process Tab up until Microsoft system processes to try to identify any other process that should not still be open. In the Task Manager you can use End Task by right clicking that process. This is the one way to determine possible program maybe causing slow shutdown.

For OneDrive you did not have to remove the App just disable it's startup located in the Notification area of the Taskbar at the bottom right this is how i did it because i did not need it starting up and do not use it either.

Wish i could here this beep myself to help you there, best thing is use a close ear to the area when shutting down the Laptop even if takes a few times in a row, had a squealing fan once.Truthfully for me it's been a long time since i had a Laptop and can not recall the location of everything inside, CPU, GPU and vent at the bottom of the case should have fans.

Can be something touching it or caught in there or it is going bad if a fan, but again we are not positive if this is it or not only a guess for me as of now i am not in front of it to hear it. If anything it is not causing this slow shutdown i do not feel it is just another issue and if it was that bad there would be heat issues.

I'll go ahead and disable the hibernation mode and see if I notice any big difference. As for the task manager, everything seems normal. Dropbox is kind of high, because it updates as soon as someone makes a change. But I've always had drop box, I think I'll uninstall it, see if there's any huge difference.

On another note, I just had a bad error. I can't remember what I was doing, either shutting down, updating, or doing stuff and the computer froze. I waited quite a bit and finally forced it to shut down. I was done using it for the day, and today when I went to boot up I kept getting a Driver_Power_State_Failure blue screen at the boot up. It went through the checkup and then got it again. It looks like it was on an endless loop. I looked it up on my phone and it told me to check the Device Manager on safe mode, so I did that after a few tries trying to get F8 to work and the Generic PNP monitor driver had a yellow warning sign on it, so uninstalled that, rebooted and it still was bad. Went to system recovery to the last windows critical update and now I'm here. Never seen this before.

Hibernation does not have to be disabled if you use it, most might with Laptops, can disable and then re-enable to clear the Hibersys file.
Not sure about Dropbox but know it is a o.k. program to know if it is causing you any issues, can always reinstall after installing if corrupted possibly.

Driver_Power_State_Failure believe is an issue with a Device driver although people here who deal with BSOD would know better by analyzing your Dump File that gets created from a BSOD.

So unable to boot up at all ? You did originally do a clean install awhile back, do you have a Windows 10 Disc or USB Flash made ? Do you have an external monitor hooked up ?

Ever do a BIOS update since you had this Laptop ? See updates for BIOS having to do with GPU (Display Adapter).
Do not try this as of yet. Chances of doing a clean install, first download all drivers for Laptop if have other means to do so. https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/N550J...Desk_Download/

Mentioning something about NVIDIA GeForce (GPU display adapter) before which do you have in the system as it shows both under specs ? One is integrated into CPU, Intel may have both.

    Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4600
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 750M with 2GB/4GB DDR3 VRAM
