Well I'm glad you had an awesome week with it booting rapidly. There was a big update yesterday, I wonder if you are now on build ver 10586.122 and some of your settings were reset? Another mystery to solve! :)
I am having the same issue with my Samsung Series 7 Chronos updated to Win 10. It's taking about 1 to 2 minutes to boot up; same symptoms as described in the OP's 1st post. I was able to fix it if I go to the Samsung's SW Update and reinstall all the drivers as Administrator from the Dos command line. I think it's the AMD driver. If I uninstall the AMD Catalyst drivers from Control Panel, it boots up very fast. If I reinstall or update the AMD driver, then I have the boot up issue again.
