Windows 10: Dism /ScanHealth Results in Error 1726

    Dism /ScanHealth Results in Error 1726

    When I run a 'Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth' command, I get the following error after reaching the 20% point:

    Error: 1726
    The remote procedure call failed.

    I also had the following errors in my dism.log file:
    2016-02-14 17:30:49, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=9328 TID=100 Failed finalizing changes. - CDISMPackageManager::Internal_Finalize(hr:0x800706be)
    2016-02-14 17:30:49, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=9328 TID=100 Failed processing package changes with session option CbsSessionOptionDetectStoreCorruption - CDISMPackageManager::ScanHealth(hr:0x800706be)
    2016-02-14 17:30:50, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=9328 TID=100 Failed to restore the image health. - CPackageManagerCLIHandler::ProcessCmdLine_CleanupImage(hr:0x800706be)
    2016-02-14 17:30:50, Error DISM DISM Package Manager: PID=9328 TID=100 Failed while processing command cleanup-image. - CPackageManagerCLIHandler::ExecuteCmdLine(hr:0x800706be)
    2016-02-14 17:30:50, Error DISM DISM.EXE: DISM Package Manager processed the command line but failed. HRESULT=800706BE

    Any thoughts? The '/CheckHealth' option worked fine, but I had been having issues with 'sfc /scannow' which led me to trying to see if Dism might be able to resolve things...

    Thanks!

    Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I'm having trouble with it as well.
