    Well, it really depends on few things:
    1. How fast your PC is
    2. Whether the storage Media is a SSD or a spinner
    3. Most importanly, how you organnize your PC ie. separate data with Windows system files
    4. Most people don't realize that some of the programs can be made portable. Just to name a few: bcdedit, vlc player, winrar, 7-zip .... they usually came as an installer but actually they are just a bunch of .exe zip files. Just use 7-zip to unzip to another place and can be run as a stand alone, the advantage is you don't have to install it again if you are dual booting and will be available, the contents are all the same therefore no need to include them in your backup.


    Having said that. Jimbo45's backup time is fast but still more than half of mine. Not to brag but just to prove a point. Backing up ~35GB took 2:10 Minutes.
