Problems with Response from DISM
I am running a desktop HP Pavilion 500-123ea, 8 GB memory running Windows 10 (originally Windows 8). The computer frequently freezes/crashes.
The sfc/scannow fails to complete.
I have been getting conflicting results from DISM. When I run 'CheckHealth' it says 'The component source is repairable.'
When I run 'Restorehealth' in DISM it says there is an error 0x800f081f and that 'The source files could not be found'. I am referred to the link 'go microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkId=243077' which doesn't seem to go anywhere.
I realise I've posted before, and appreciate all received advice, but has anyone encountered this sort of problem before?
