If possible, you should go for Windows 32-bit instead, it has a bit smaller RAM footprint.
Disable Windows Defender - NoDefender, use something light like 360 Essential.
Install CleanMem Free, no need to do anything else with it.

Your disk is running at 100%, if you are running a game, this seems to be the issue, not the RAM.
was installing updates or copying files to the network at this time of screen shoot HDDs are fine using 1 % when idle

Hardware limitation of the chipset on the motherboard. That motherboard has the old Intel G31 chipset which only supports up to 4 GB of RAM,

Just had a look at the manual for that board and there is no option for memory remapping which would allow it to use the full 4 GB when using a 64 bit OS. Basically means that what you see is what you get regardless of using 32 bit or 64 bit. You also have a 2 GB video card, which means you're lucky to have as much available as you do.
so why when i chuck in my mates nvidia gtx 660 in do i get 3.2gb insted of the 2.7 with the 750Ti
