Windows 10: Disk Cleanup Issues

    strange it does not show WHERE these temp files are??? I looked....showed 256mb ....which should take my computer no longer than 2 min's tops!! Something seems fishy about this....

    Run you Ccleaner.
    See if it deletes any of the 256 MB at all.

    I did......did not seem to touch these mystery "temp" files that windows SAYS are their.....that's MY point.....if they are 256 mb of temp files....just WHERE are these suckers???

    plus the fact that it is still saying.....its trying to remove them......which like I've said, should take no longer than 2 mins or less.

    You can report that to Feedback app if you want.

    Ok.....I think it has to be a Windows bug......with this Temp file issue......but, didn't know about this one, until you showed me. :)

    Don't know what to think about that mysterious Temporary category and why it hangs as it does - I have similar result on 529 MB in mine.

    I'm kinda thinking it's a sidebar, however, to MS23's original inquiry. I'm with fdegrove and thinking something is definitely sideways with such a huge cache.

    Wonder what MS23 has their browser cache setting at - I assume this is Internet Explorer?

    P.S. - Mike, I think now I'll start stalking you in return. What's wrong with just being a wallflower? Or walking away to get a beer or do something even more private while viewing the thread? LOL

    I coulda been googling the heck out of it and composing a Night Hawk manifesto - you never know.
