unknown "windows" software taking lots of memory

I tried google searching just the direct phrase of "system and compressed memory", but came up with nothing. I have never seen it before until recently, and it is using half a gig average. When I open file location, it does bring me to the windows folder, but it does not mean it was something that was put there by windows.unknown "windows" software taking lots of memory-capture.png

It's a new feature to compress currently occupied but unused memory to conserve some free RAM.

It will be replaced if anything needs that part, It's something like .zip, it's smaller but still there. It actually saves you some free memory, good thing.
Let me put it this way: Any program or part of it that would normally take as an example 1GB, now takes 750MB instead and so frees some really unused memory.

Post a screenshot of Task Manager - Performance tab showing memory information. While 398 MB may be high it is still only 10% of total memory. There is little reason to believe it is the cause of the high memory usage. There are also major users of memory that are not processes, not all of which are shown by Task Manager.

That's just part of memory that was compressed, without that compression it would be higher usage of total RAM.
