Try the windows trouble shooter hopefully it will point all of us in the right direction.
If it does not work then a reset it would seem is all that will be left for you to do.
Also have you tried sfc /scannow

i dont have a disc for windows however, but i do have a disc i used to recover windows when my pc wasnt working.
That CD you mentioned will bring you back to Win 8.1
The Reset option I mentioned is basically to restore Windows 10.
Which option do you prefer ?
Go back to Win 8.1 or reinstall Win 10 ?

No, you don't need any disk to reset your PC.
    Please read my instructions again.
You can find it from my very first reply I gave you.

Done some more testing and found out that it boots alot faster in safe mode. Any more ideas otherwise i think i will just have to deal with it. Dont have a hard drive to back up the stuff i need to reset and tbh dont want to download around 100gb of games again. Any more things i can try guys??

Long Loading Times in Performance & Maintenance
Anyone have an idea why certain programs take longer to load in Windows 10 than in Windows 7? Specifically, Firefox 39.0, Syncbackfree 7.3.3.6, and Finale 2014d (a music notation program). Thanks.
