It's easy to disable items in the Startup tab of the Task Manager, but how do I remove the item from the list altogether?
I would like to remove SWFTP and the Realtek audio manager from the list.
I already searched everywhere in the forum. I have done it in the past, through the registry editor. But when I navigate to the key location, I don't even see those items within the registry.

Right click and run as Admin. Click to hilite the item you want to delete then click on the red "X" on top left corner.

Autoruns for WindowsTo disable an auto-start entry uncheck its check box. To delete an auto-start configuration entry use the Delete menu item or toolbar button.
Or if you have Ccleaner installed you can first disable then delete too.
Of course you can manually delete it if you know where it is in the registry.
You don't install it. It is a portable version. In addition, the list show you where it is in the registry then you can manually delete the registry if you wish.But I remember being able to remove stuff without installing any additional software.
