Hi, it depends what you want to do.
How to monitor Microsoft Windows Eventlog ID - HOWTOs - Knowledge base
gives a way to add specific alerts using a parameterised command...
Single PC? Network? Analysis? Consolidation? Correlation? Compliance?
It's trying to be.. I mean, ask Cortana, 'Do you like me?' and click 'Let's chat'...
On the other hand, sorting out logging in to the store as a local user and not being readily able to manipulate aspects of the left column of the start menu certainly aren't.. together with MS providing borderless white windows that confused me and a range of things that are easily broken - plus bugs like Side by Side stacking vertically and irDA support removed and some incompatibility with Audacity and Ashampoo products not finding my sound card...and all the sleep issues giving people sleepless nights.. oh heck better stop there! Basically I find as long as I use it with a replacement start menu as a classic desktop it's generally fine- after work adapting the appearance.
Many people (including me) wish for a lot of things to be changed/introduced in W10. That's why MS instituted Insider Program, to get as many opinions and suggestions as possible, Anybody wishing for something else should let them know, I have already seen many changes since the beginning and there will be many more. If you look at Insider versions and compare to present 10240 some of them are pretty apparent.
Just got to remember that some things you may wish for, others/some may be against. If you upgraded from W7/8.1, reinstalling programs that are making troubles may help. If that fails, look for updated versions of those programs, developers of those programs should do that, they had lots of time already.
