    Backing Up Windows 10

OK, So I've got Windows 10 installed from my Win7 SP1 disk. My first question is at some future point, will I be able to reinstall from that? And my 2nd question, seeing as that would be insane and take forever, what is the best way of backing up/being able to reinstall up my windows 10 installation?

    Thanks,

    James.

Once Win 10 is installed and activated you no longer need to use the win 7 SP1 disk to reinstall. You can just reinstall win 10. The Microsoft servers keep a hardware hash of your computer so that if win 10 is reinstalled it will remember it as activated. To check that you are activated go to Settings>system>about>System info. If you are activated you are all set. It may be a good idea to make a Win 10 iso in case you ever have to reinstall. Here is a tutorial for that https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/9...-download.html.

There are tons of free backup software to choose from. One of the most mentioned ones is Macrum Reflect Free. The trick is to choose one and use it.
