One of my major whinges of W8.1, how slow disk clean-up is, particularly when cleaning system files. Only tried W10's clean up a couple of times but it seemed quick. When you consider that my first 8.1 clean took some 50 minutes to complete, this in around 3 or 4 minutes is lightning fast. I wonder if its a thorough ?

Not much to clean up yet, only 2 KB's installed so far. It is quicker though.

I've saw a couple of hundred mb's as error files (I think) and Windows Defender clean ups.

About 5 - 7 min., scanning device driver packages took the longest.

That sounds pretty good to me. A vast improvement over 8.1

I don't really notice a difference but ya it does seem a bit faster.

Those times were just as slow at the beginning of W10, it has been much improved since then. It takes me now only couple of minutes on SSD and that's including windows.old and everything associated with upgrade.
