How to remove item(s) from contextual menu(s)

    Hello

I noticed that the list of items displayed in contextual menu(s) grows as the number of installed applications grows

How could I remove useless items from the contextual menu(s) - Windows function ? Additional utility ?

    Thanks for your help

There are several 3rd party utilities that let you disable these by using check box selection.

One very often mentioned (also in a tutorial) here is Shellexview (free).

This doesn't actually list ALL context menu entries in some cases (and some default ones are not meant to be removed).

For more see e.g. Autoruns (free) which does a lot more than just context menu entries as it lists all startups as well.
