No.
They are entirely different.
A Repair install, as you know, is run from within Windows and just replaces Windows system files.
It is not an installation but a file replacement, a repair.
Clean installs & Custom installs are similar. The tutorials contain explanations.
A Clean install installs Windows onto a disk.
A Custom install installs Windows onto a specific partition of a disk. It is just-about like having a Clean install onto that partition.
The only time I have run a Custom install was when I set up a dual-boot years ago.
