    Mouse


    Hi

    Why does my new mouse does not respond after my desktop gores in sleep mode

    when reopening the mouse disappears until i restart my desktop then everything is ok

    Possibly the USB ports are going to sleep & they’re not waking up with the pc. Check under power settings for USB suspended sleep & turn this off.
    Search for devmgmt.msc and then press enter.
    Find Universal Serial Bus controllers.
    On each USB Root Hub item, right-click and choose Properties.
    Click on the Power Management tab and un-check the box for Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

    The problem can also happen with a Bluetooth mouse. Usually the Bluetooth is part of the Wireless/Wi-Fi adapter so check the power state for it.
