System only using 4 of 6 cores. AMD

I have an AMD Ryzen 3600 6 cores.
Windows only sees 4 of those cores. I ran both Everest as well as CPU-Z and both show 6 cores but only 4 functional.

How do I enable the missing two cores?

I experimented and seem to have found a working solution for my system.

    First part had me worried!

    1. msconfig / boot / advanced
was set to maximum 8 processors. I only have 6 but confused because I have only one processor with 6 cores. ( Thank you Microsoft for confusing info ) I set to one processor and rebooted and found only one processor and one core working. ( ouch )

I could not set msconfig back so unchecked number of processors, crossed fingers and rebooted.

    2. Upon reboot the missing cores appeared!

I left msconfig with number of processors unchecked.

So it would appear that trying to select the number of processors there is what causes the problem. Just uncheck that and reboot.

Yes because msconfig is not supposed to be set like that, its intended purpose is to debug the computer you should have all the option disabled or turned off for the hardware stuff.
