W10 with NVMe tooking almost 2 minutes to boot

I tried to figutre out the problem myself using Windows Performance Analyzer, but I can't understand a thing. I uploaded the files here (WeTransfer - Send Large Files & Share Photos Online - Up to 2GB Free). Can someone give me some advice?

Hi, @zinou is the master here- the only member I know of with experience of using that.

    Please search tenforums for e.g.
    slow boot times
    WPA
    WPA slow boot
    etc
    and you will find examples.

    1. Please complete specs of your PC (click My Computers below my post for examples - tutorial available).
    2. The forum prompted you for your full build number e.g. 19045.3803 - sadly hundreds ignore that so we have to keep asking.
    3. Make sure Fast Startup is DISABLED
    4. In several cases, surprisingly, an accumulation of temporary files has been responsible.

Please use Disk Cleanup and check for more using e.g.
    Wiztree (free) or other means.

    5. History please - so many don't provide this.

When did your PC last boot to lock screen in a few seconds?
    What has changed since then?

Please use the same numbers in your reply. Thanks.

What AMD GPU drivers are you using? There's an issue (slow booting) with 23.11.1 on some CPUs. Had to go back to version 23.9.1 on my Ryzen 7 5800H until AMD fixes it.

    3. It was disabled already
    4. Done
    5. I really don't now. It is my gf laptop an she was using it barebones (installed almost no installed program) and I installed a bunch of thing in it ( up to date lenovo and amd drivers, direcx, steam, visual c, direct x, evernote, python, google drive etc) and after the firts reboot after that it started to take too long to show theh login screen.

@Fabler2 I am using AMD Driver ver 31.0.21905.1001
@Pentagon Clean boot takes the same time... around 100 secs

Thanks. I suggest you now be patient- and wait for zinou. That may take some time.

Meanwhile feel free to scan similar threads for ideas, and ways of using the WPA.

Do you have any other drives attached like a USB external drive?

    @jaum20,
First let me say the issue was on my Windows 11 OS .
What happened was the loading circle kept turning for a long while before it booted. The offending driver was 31.0.21905.1001.

Installing the previous driver 31.0.21031.1005 fixed the slow boot. It's up to you if you want to try downloading and installing the older driver (over the top) to see if it fixes it for you.

    1 Bad driver.
    2 Working driver
    3 Windows Update forced driver.
I'll clean up the offending driver once AMD decide to do something about it.

This is what the AMD software is showing for me now. I'm not updating obviously.

Now you have to stop it being updated.
