The simple test is to close Chrome, and measure again if you feel the answer is wrong. I'm not invested in one answer over another, but that's how you would settle some of the doubts.

Can WMD/Memory test used in 16gb of ram computer ?
Someone said you should run wmd/memtest if you only have 4gb of ram, if you have more than 4gb you have to use memtest86. Is it true ?

Hello, So my Computer's ram is used up to 50%. although no process uses that much! (7GB!)
So basically my Computer is always on 50% Memory use. let me show you a screenshot :

I've noticed my memory is sky rocketing up to the 90%s when gaming or idle. I checked my specs and have realized only 6.6gb is usable. I was wondering if anyone had a fix to this? Thanks.
