    Minimum processor power state question for desktop PC

    Hi,

    I run my desktop PC on the "Balanced" power profile, which is the Windows default and I have never changed it, but I was just looking in the detailed settings for the profile and noticed that the minimum processor power state for this profile is set to 100% - I have never changed this, so I was wondering if this is the default because I always thought the minimum power state was 5% by default?

    Obviously the maximum power state is set to 100% which is fine, but I was wondering if it is normal to have the minimum set to 100% for this power profile?

    Thanks

    Hi, mine's 5->100% min-max.

    You can of course restore the settings to default..

    Dalchina, thanks for the fast reply and for confirming the settings for the Balanced profile.

    I've never actually seen the restore default settings option at the bottom so thanks for pointing that out too.
