If you have this problem because of a windows update then other people have it too but not all, it must depend on the hardware, drivers etc.
Try windows 11, go to eleven forum to find installation workaround, there are several. I installed on an old desktop windows 11 with the rufus method. If it's okay, you'll be quiet after 2025.

edit you don't have other keyboard and mouse to test?

Try a restart without the keyboard.
    You are right
Yes, I know that the installation limit can be bypassed with the registry file or Rufus
If this topic doesn't work, I will take ISO 11 and test it

    Yes I have
The situation is the same with them
Does this motherboard have a driver at all?
    for usb
    Or Lan etc.?
If it exists, it is very old and I don't think it is compatible with 10 and 11

You have to go to the motherboard page and see the drivers and compare the versions of the drivers installed with those of the motherboard.
As I said I installed windows 11 on an old 2009 desktop computer and windows 11 found all the drivers, I didn't install anything from the motherboard page. Windows 11 works fine.

There was no change after installing the USB driver

If you have intel drivers on your motherboard, chipset etc. try them even if they are older than those installed because those installed may be generic drivers.

I have the test of your motherboard, I am on it because I wanted the specifications of the motherboard because of the wifi driver of the page.
There is therefore a wifi module that asus calls "Wi-Fi GO! module", if you have installed it you should try without this card.
Your motherboard must also have two chipsets 1 intel and 1 asmedia, I have already seen several cases of motherboard with 2 chipsets and normally you can deactivate the asmedia chipset in the bios. Before doing so, make sure that the ssd and hdd are not connected to a sata port of the asmedia chipset.

Edit: And if you have the ssd or the hdd or both connected to a sata port of the asmedia chipset, try connecting them to a sata port of the intel chipset. In the motherboard manual, the sata ports that correspond to the asmedia chipset must be indicated.

edit: You can also try the asmedia drivers on motherboard page.

If you can accept the SearchApp.exe notices, then there isn't any reason why you shouldn't continue to use the pc.
The motherboard predates the introduction of TPM.
The claim that Windows Defender is "full of bugs" is fictional, not factual. Please prove otherwise.

I never had this problem before this update
I really don't feel like doing these things anymore
By next week, I will buy a new and updated system and then I will give this system to an expert for repair until the problem is identified.

    Thank you for your time.

I don't understand what you mean about SearchApp.exe!

This antivirus only slows down the system and interferes with its work, and instead of being useful, it only reduces the life of the hard drive and ssd, and it gets stuck on everything and deletes them.
What antiviruses like Kaspersky or Norton and Eset never do!
I am not the only one saying this, it is the opinion of many people and security experts!

    Win 10 Pro (22H2) (2nd PC is 22H2)
       #50

The problem started with the previous build 20H2
and build 22H was the same
But build 20H had no problem until a few days ago
All of a sudden, I think it happened after the Microsoft update!
Why should I use the old build when an update is released for Windows?
What is this update that caused this problem for me? and why this problem did not happen to other users? What is the real reason?
It seems you're saying that this PC was fine up to a particular build, but not later.

I think I may have commented (long ago in this thread) that there is a risk with old machines that all may be well running Win 10 (unsupported, no guarantees) up to a point... when some incompatibility occurs.

One simple option is to return to the build with which all was well and then disable Windows Updates.

This thread has gone on a long time trying to help you with an old PC. Now it's great you don't wish to discard it. (My laptops are 7-8 years old- 1 was bought 2nd hand).

I suggest you cut your losses, install the old build that worked and check the problem does not occur with that.
The tutorial on downloading iso files gives a way to obtain one for any build (Heidoc downloader, free).

Why should I use the old build when an update is released for Windows?
    - because your (old, unsupported) PC is not guaranteed to work with Win 10... and apparently there's a problem if you continue to update it.

And so far it's not proved possible to find a way forward. As for taking it to a repair shop... is it really worth the money.. assuming they would be willing to try?
