i like to keep hdd space in check, clearly not what Windows likes... lol anyway, if you open Storage Sense > Temporary files > at the bottom there's this Updates which now reports 1.65 GB - i cannot for the life of me clean that, or is it just a prevision?
You can only click "view update settings"
How to do it?
If i click Remove files it will only delete 52 MB right now

Try with "disk cleanup" tool. Press WIN, and type disk cleanup, run it and select the option Clean system files.
One of the options there should be remove updates.
yep, i do that all the time + WinDirStat. seems to be a bit of a bug that one with storage sense, problem from 2016 ?!?
Can you check where are those files? Are they in "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution" folder?
I usually use Treesize free to find used space
You use storage sense to clean now and set it to clean every x days at the top it say settings or run now that what you click
Funny you ask, i cleaned that one last night, thanks to another tutorial, lots of unused stuff there in fact, in the Download folder.
Temporary Files under the Storage Sense still says 1.65GB so that's bizarre, i think it's just way off and that's it. Last night i found so many posts from people from 2016 and 2018 saying exactly the same. Identical as mine observations. Boh.
