    Well, as I said above:

    - so you could try uninstalling that update.

I also suggested above using a suitable System Restore point or restoring an earlier disk image.
That update appears to have been installed some time before the problem occurred. In any case, it doesn't appear among the updates that I can uninstall.
Also I couldn't find any restore points older than today, I don't know why.
it just installed the updates automatically now: KB5025915 and KB5025221, maybe it gets better.
Maybe the only thing is to slowly try to enable the services and the rest and update the drivers?
it's strange because sometimes it seems to be fine, with everything deactivated. Maybe it's really something that annoys the services

Have you run Clean disk? It can have a significant effect on performance [it does not merely affect the amount of space available].

    Best of luck,

Hi, I've already done some things in this video. I did the last step of repairing windows but of course it's small things and nothing has changed..

As you've seen some improvement by disabling certain things, the logical step is to enable each or small groups in turn and see if there's any change.

Updating drivers is probably the least likely to make a difference... and never use a driver updater tool for routine updates.

It is slow to open windows and web pages on the internet.
The strange thing is that in safe mode it seems to be fast and normal in speed
Strongly suggests startup related, but there are also driver differences.

Inspect your resource usage when you again experience slowness. How much free RAM do you have?
Are your page file settings as default?

Check your disk performance- e.g. Crystal Diskmark - and compare vs similar disks as posted on the internet.. there are some reference results posted.

If you wish to get technical, try Procmon (Process Monitor) - free from MS. You can then, at your own leisure- no one here's likely to look at the huge log- see exactly what is happening when something is 'slow'.

The problem is that even now that I've disabled everything there's always a bit of generic slowness.
Obviously going to rehabilitate the various things the situation will worsen even more. For this I have the feeling that it is also something else.

For the drivers it is true, I want to try to do a total cleaning of both video cards with DDU and re-install the two drivers. What tips to use? From Windows Update or the ones I find on the manufacturer's website even if they are older in version?

Do you have any other drive than the Toshiba XG3 256GB?

Did you already do a check disk?
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
    chkdsk c: /f
It will say your disk is in use and ask if you want to schedule to next start = yes
    Restart

    Done. no problems detected.
    I don't have any other M2 SSDs.

I have about half of the 8GB RAM free out of 16GB.
The paging file is managed automatically.

I try Crystal Diskmark and the other program and update you.

You could also, simply out of curiosity really, check your WEI. Here's an easy way:

    - that's for an 8 year old laptop (my t440s), clean installed as bought 2nd hand about 5 years ago...
