WOW! 9 seconds start up time. I can only wish. I'm still working on the issue and hope to further reduce the start up time.

After doing a lot of clean up I also have an interesting side benefit.

For quite some time, my network locations did not always under the Network header in File Explorer. To access them, I have pinned their IP addresses to the Quick Access section of File Explorer.

After doing my clean up, now all network locations are showing under the Network header in File Explorer.

To my knowledge I haven't changed, added or deleted anything associated with network locations.

Very strange.

Right on !

Don't do too much at once. Make some changes and use your system for awhile and be sure it is doing same or better. Then make a restore point b4 making any new changes. rinse and repeat. at least that is what i do. and i keep a log/journal of everything i do as far as changes to any services, registry, group editor, task scheduler, autoruns etc.

And I use to hate the idea but doing an inplace repair Install can be a great solution to getting back to a more stable conservative state.

Yes. That's good advice. It's almost exactly what I do. In the past, I've had too many major screw ups because I was too aggressive (or stupid?) in making changes.
