The reason I asked about it is that some pirated/hacked software can attempt to turn off various aspects of security
I WAS NOT however suggesting that you had knowlingly installed such.
I will leave you with zbook but will keep monitoring to see how things are going.
IMHO unless my colleague finds something your way forward in the first instance is a repair install of windows
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
I suggest this to eliminate windows system problems.
It would also be beneficial in view of the daily poower cuts -
UNLESS you know that
blackouts have NEVER occurred whilst the computer was ON and especially whilst updating. So i will add that i live in South Africa and due to the economic situation here we have rolling blackouts everyday.
I do not know what your budget is, but my advice in view of these daily rolling blackouts, unless you can always ensure the computer is never in use at the time of a blackout, would be to consider an Unintteruptible power supply.
I wish you the best of luck with it
