Thank you all for the advice...and I think what some of you say is true...If it isn't broken don't fix it,
and in my case "If it isn't so badly broken, that you can't live with it like it is, don't fix it."
Us older guys have learned "Lowering your standards is not a bad thing."
The computer can accumulate a huge amount of temporary files and used upgrade files that can slow down the computer.
Why not use the Windows Disk Cleanup (%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe)? Select all options and run it.
Bujt again I am not sure what it considers "Dirt" that is cleaned up.. suppose it cleans up something I wanted...
Megahertz is correct.
Your own files will not be deleted.

if you want it. If not then just trying it, as Megahertz suggested, is very safe & very easy.
