I would back up my personal files and do a clean installation. Download latest ISO with the MS Media Creation Tool.

I am replying to this thread out of frustration. I have not much useful information to add except to say the problem still exists out here. I ask, Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem ?

    Hi Wayne,

Unfortunately this isn't a problem where a general solution exists for, there are many different solutions for different users and not all of them may work for many.
For this reason I ask that you create a new thread, also because this thread is months old.

    Hi axe0,
I apologize for asking the question. I do realize the thread is not new. That I think that is my point.

I have developed the long boot/reboot problem recently. I have searched the web for some time. I cannot find anyone coming with fairly reliable answer to the problem.

It seems like, after so long, there would be someone, or Microsoft would have come up with something. I am just trying to say that after such a long time the problem still exsists. There are people still out here with this trouble. I do apologize for asking the question.

    Thank you fore youresponse,

    Wayne

There is no need to apologize, I only ask that you create a new thread for your problem.
