CrystalDiskMark SSD benchmarking utility reduces SSD lifespan?
To what extent does running the CrystalDiskMark SSD benchmarking utility reduce SSD lifespan? My question applies to all versions of Windows 10/11
On the product's website there is a warning notice that states, "CrystalDiskMark may shorten SSD/USB Memory life." Is this because it writes large amounts of data to the SSD during testing? Are such text files deleted by the program after testing?
