    Lenovo 520

AMAZING THINKPAD! It's my wife's laptop (docked with lenovo dock and used with kb/mouse/monitor)
I added a m2 SSD for the OS Win10Pro and a 500gb SSD for storage.
It's got to be 10 years old...It just runs like a champ.

However...outlook (2 imap accounts) and browser (with ghostery/adblock) is just sluggish. Especially outlook...
Performance is 'good' with CPU and memory not even close to being maxed out.
I used CC cleaner and get rid of temp files etc...
This is a biz laptop and she uses some other software that is not sluggish.

I have bought a new thinkpad but I hate to get rid of the current if something can be done to speed it up.
    Should I reinstall windows?
Windows version is 10pro and it's updated to the latest. 22h2 19045.2251

If outlook and the internet is slow, the next question is what you are paying for Internet and what speeds you are paying for.

Did you check? Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test
    What antivirus you have?
When was the last time you scanned the computer for malware?

If it is just downloading emails and getting on the Internet, it is a Network/Internet not working properly. Also running scans every day is over doing it when Windows Defender is a lot less resource intense on how it scans.

The ltop seems to run pretty well. Boots up quickly and for most activity it runs very well for a laptop it's age. However, Outlook and web browers (chrome) run sluggishly.
Outlook - emails download just fine but selecting an email does not bring it up quickly and it generally lags. NOT downloading emails...that is fine.
Chrome - same...it is just generally sluggish. 400mb d/l speed but opening a new tab and going to a website is just laggy. It is not the network it is something else. We run ghostery and adblock.

Is there a utility that can determine what exactly is happening? SHOULD i just reinstall windows? not something I really want to do or would have done it already.

Malwarebytes runs at 3 in the morning so it's not eating up real-time resources. I have it on my work desktop and laptop and I'm very happy with it as far as interrupting/slowing my work flow. I don't think it's a problem.
