Incomplete Boot occasionally

W10 Pro 19045.2311

The latest update somehow went badly, so I had to repair the system in-place.

Following that, occasionally happens that the boot starts (dots circle starts to spin), then black screen (with some disk activity) and nothing more.
I have to keep power button pressed, power-up again and boot normally.

When this happens, I find in Event Viewer the (3) errors at the bottom of the post.
I have run repeatedly dism, sfc (incl. on boot), chkdsk with no findings.

Any idea what to look for?

Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
and
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth


If it doesn't fix and as you already run the basic, I suggest you download a Win 10 22h2 installation iso, mount it and run setup.exe (repair install)

I agree with @Megahertz. It will give you a better chance of the repair being successful.

It sounds to me more like a startup problem that you can attack by booting from your Windows 10 installation disk or Macrium reflect boot disk [which some say has better startup repair capabilities].

Startup Repair - TenForumsTutorials - you'll notice that there are other ways of starting it but I've heard that the installation disk method can be more effective.

Please post a whole Disk Manager image. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them.
