    w10 22H2 performance

    Hello.

Have anybody noticed a noticeable decrease in performance? Is it 22H2 or is it the TLS fix OOB 2132 patch?

Got all my computers updated to version 22H2, both Win10 and Win11, haven't seen any issues with speeds. There is a bit of wait with a couple of programs but they've been that way ever since installing on different versions of Windows and Linux.

Thank you Berton. It's my aging i7-5960x SATA II disk speed. Maybe a thorough check is in order. I remember to have enabled Accoustic Power Management and the drive is performing worse but I am pretty sure I disabled it. Time to double-check.

I have pinpointed the culprit to be latest MS AHCI driver. For some reason it's pretty slow on my X99 chipset platform. I have installed Intel 9 series driver and it performs 10-20% faster on average.

so far 22h2 good with my computer specs

but... WhatsApp (from store) have some glitch here
    memory management at egde better

    i think
personal opinion without proof: the secret of 22h2 are to make PC Manager more powerful (not the tools, but the telemetry only) and some related "link" between internal MSWindows core.. like edge-defender-etc-etc

    overall
    better performance
