Stuck BIOS splash screen after wake from hibernate, unplugging fixes

    Hey folks

I am having an odd problem recently with my Windows 10 21H2 installation that started a while ago.

Every night I hibernate my computer and then in the morning, I have it scheduled to wake up before I do. But it has started to get stuck on BIOS splash screen some days. But not every day. Sometimes powering off or restarting and trying again will get it past the splash screen, but sometimes not.

But what ALWAYS fixes it is unplugging the PSU, putting the power back in and turning it on. It's a tad annoying as it defeats the point of it starting up and being ready for me.

I have tried clearing BIOS settings and it has made no difference.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Is this possibly the PSU on the way out? A bad power cord? (Haven't tried to swap that yet) Some kind of motherboard issue?

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

That would be what I do FIRST. It will at least exclude that as being the problem.

Have you looked at the Win-Event logs ?
Have you tried re-setting the Scheduled Task ?

Still does the same thing with a new power cord.
There's nothing interesting in the event logs relevant to it.
I have reset the scheduled task but it happens when woke up from other devices via WOL as well.

Giving this a bump. Still happening every day.
The code on the Asus board is showing A2 which means IDE check. There are no IDE drives....
I've tried removing almost every SATA hard drive bar a couple and it keeps doing it.
Next will try with only the boot drive.

But does anyone else have any other ideas? This has me baffled.
