    I am NOT following you, do you mean do they get deleted to the Recycle Bin ?

    You have to select files, click SHIFT and delete, otherwise it will go to recycle, like Paul Black pointed out

    @AndreTen is totally correct.

    Recycle Bin (on Desktop) > right-click

    There's a setting that allows you to bypass the R/Bin - is that selected ?

    Otherwise, deleted files should go to the R/Bin and be stored there. It's just another folder in the system, plain and simple.

    It makes no difference whether the deleted file comes from Downloads, Documents, Videos, or any program folder

    WARNING Never use the R/Bin as temporary storage (as some users are wont).

    Malware does not reside in the recycle.bin once deleted...

    It is removed or still present.

    If you are talking about MalwareBytes then it could be a push notification in your browser.

    Assuming that you downloaded malwarebytes and launched the file that you subsequently deleted:

    https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/...s-Support-Tool

    Use the dedicated removal tool.
