You ran the command just as it was given in Option 3 of the tutorial including being online? See post #4

Please post the extracted results using the guidance given in Option 5 of the tutorial.

    All the best,

You need to be connected to the Internet before running those commands:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    sfc /scannow

Don't worry. I get those sfc /scannow results all the time on multiple PCs for no particular reason. It's just a 'feature' of Windows 10.

Been thru all this a couple of days ago.

The culprit is Cumulative update KB5015807
Significant numbers of people are getting problems, on mine in Settings > Update & security > Recovery options crashes out of Settings.

Uninstalling this update cures the problem.

Look in the Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates. Go to the Microsoft Windows section you can uninstall from there.
Takes a while with a standard Laptop HDD.

SFC and DISM checks again, and should be clear.

Unfortunately it is one of those automatic updates, the only option you seem to have with Windows 10 Home is to just pause updates (I won't do system mods).

I have seen @Helmut's method work for several people.

I would add however, once WU is uninstalled, recommend that you perform a Restart BEFORE running [ Online ] sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, and sfc /scannow once again.

    I hope this helps.

    Helmut,

What are the irreparable SFC errors?
Doesn't the SFC tutorial's Option 3 note about running Dism online fix things?
I'm interested but have not had any problems after KB5015807 myself.

    All the best,
