    Driver install

    Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place this post, however since doing a clean install I have two unknown devices on my pc.
My PC is an ASUS A540L,and the two unknown devices are identified as ACPI/Int3400\2&DADA3FF, from property details and further ID as "Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware".
I found this solution "DTPF_B_Intel_ROG_DCH_V8710200112510" together with text file
Step by step1. Extract the drivers package and get into the folder2. Click the File option from the upper left corner of the driver package folder3. Move the cursor to the Open Windows PowerShell option4. Select Open Windows PowerShell as administrator option5. Select Yes, Allow this app to make changes to your device.6. Input .\Install.bat7. Press Enter key to start drivers installation until return to next command line.8. After install successfully, please restart.

I do all this exactly but result is as per attachment.
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? If so please help.

    I am running W10 21H1 Build19043
    Thank You
    Rayal

    @Rayal

It would help if you'd post a screen shot of Device Manager with View > Show Hidden Devices, check marked.

If you choose Hardware ID instead of Device instance path, you can Google the Hardware ID.

    For example...

    USB\VID_05C6&PID_9092&MI_00 - Google Search

Please update the "My Computer" section.

Is this the same or different model:

See these links to find drivers in device manager that display yellow triangles with black exclamation marks or unknown devices:

For drivers please use the Asus or component manufacturers websites.

    Rayal,

    Here's another guide
search for drivers by HardwareID - TenForums
Intel produce your drivers & Windows update can normally be expected to provide them to you.

What happens if you right-click on the entries in Device manager & tell it to update drivers [try auto then tell it to use WU to do it].

    Best of luck,
    Denis

I replied to you on Bleeping Computer. Those are part of chipset drivers. Run Windows Update and check Optional Downloads -> Drivers. I am pretty sure they should come up there.
