Run function (Windows + R) bugged after Windows 10 Upgrade

Hello,

I regularly use the Windows + R function to run things or to head to hidden files immediately (typing %AppData% in it, for example)

I upgraded from a Windows 7 (Home Premium 64-bit) and after upgrading, the Run function seems to be a little bit bugged.
Normally, The thing you previously ran through Windows + R should appear in the typing bar. Now, it doesn't.
Also, when you click on the arrow at the end of the bar, to expand your "run history", it expands a lot, but is completely empty.
This is quite an annoyance, as I can't just immediately run %AppData% or anything from the expanded "history", I have to retype it everytime.

Something strange however: when typing "regedit", something does appear as a "suggestion".

I do have Revo Uninstaller installed, but I have no idea what that link is doing in there. It brings me to a window where I can download Revo Uninstaller for 50% off the price......... (or refer me to the site itself)

I assume this is a simple bug, and not something suspicious done by Revo Uninstaller to make me buy their software.
Is there a way to "reset" the "Windows + R" function, so it'll work properly afterwards?

There is a way to clear the history from the Run command through regedit, but the key they refer me to is empty. (there is no history)
Why is this happening exactly? Is my run command hijacked by Revo, giving me that link to buy their stuff?

Well, that's the problem, the registry key is already empty. It only contains the default key with no value set.

I had contacted Revo support about this aswell. They said that it might be because of usage of a registry cleaner, like CCleaner, which I have installed, but I have not used it months, and this issue only occured after upgrading to Windows 10
(Also I'm very cautious with the registry cleaner, I only clean the keys it finds that were connected to programs I uninstalled)

They also said the URL which appears in the Run command is caused by Internet Explorer browser history. I cleared it and it seems to be gone. :)

I ran the commands and rebooted. I did some runs with it, but it still doesn't save them in the list. It's still empty.
Back when I had Windows 7 on this device, I can remember that there was a way to prevent the Run command from saving your previous runs... It was through the properties of the Task Bar, but I can't seem to find it in Windows 10. Perhaps that has been activated?

Revo might do it's job, but it sure does not do it for free. That's why issues such as these surfaces (Revo hijacks most mru-s for commercial purposes).

Well, guess what I said about hijacking is not really true... That URL came from Internet Explorer browse history and as far as I can tell it seems to be normal to have IE browse history appear in the Run command. (no idea why)

But as I already said, I managed to get it removed, that's one thing solved, the thing regarding my Run history not appearing is still a mystery.

All 3 gave something like "the system could not find the given path"
I checked the registry with regedit and for the first one (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\...) there's no Explorer "folder" inside Policies. It's an empty key.

The path of the second one does exist, it has the following keys inside:
(Default)
ForceActiveDesktopOn
NoActiveDesktop
NoActiveDesktopChanges
NoRecentDocsHistory

Value for Default is REG_SZ, all the rest has REG_DWORD


The third path doesn't exist either. No Policies tab under CurrentVersion.
