There is no need to run SFC /scannow on a schedule. Running it once a week or once a month even will not make your computer run any better. The only reason to run this command is if Windows has missing or corrupted system files with some kind of issue. If your Windows is running great, it will just come back that No Integrity Violations were Found.
If you really want this to run on a schedule, then you can create a Batch file and run it in the Task Scheduler.
Or you can add SFC /scannow to the Right click Context menu and run it when you feel you need it.
Hello @kwb737,
As stated by @spunk above, there isNO
real benefit for running it on schedule usingTask Scheduler
.
It is however, a very useful visual diagnostic to see if there are ANY missing or corruptedSystem Files
, allowing you to take the appropriate steps, which would also include runningRestoreHealth
[ DISM ].
I hope this helps.
